Injunctions for Protection
There are several different types of injunctions for protection, commonly referred to as "restraining orders", available in Florida. All share the common purpose of the creation of a court order that limits and restricts the contact between two or more people. The difference is in how one is obtained. On the other end of the injunction, a person's civil rights may be seriously affected, especially with regard to firearms. Legal counsel in this area is essential.

Child Support
Once ordered to pay child support, it generally takes another court order to change or terminate the child support. Many people who have legitimate reasons to have their child support modified simply do nothing.
